Radon resistant construction techniques can be easily installed in any new home during construction.
The benefit in doing so is that having "passive radon piping" in place makes it MUCH easier (and less expensive) to fix a problem with radon
if testing is later conducted that indicate that levels in a home are high.
Many counties across the country are now requiring that radon resistant construction techniques be used.
